С 2004 года работает над собственными проектами, проводит мастер-классы, читает лекции. Сотрудничает с журналами "Nationnal Geographiс" , «Вокруг Света», "GEO". |

Mongun-Taiga. Tuva. Mongun-Taiga means «Silver Mountain» in Tuvinian. It is the name of the highest peak of Eastern Siberia (about 4,000 m), of a ridge of the Western Sayans and of a highland kozhuun or district. Mongolia and the Altai are a stone"s throw away, and heaven is no distance at all. Mongun-Taiga is one of the few places where the sarlyks, domesticated yaks, are reared. It is amusing that the Latin name of the yak, Bos grunniens, means «Grunting Bull». |

Kamchatka. Summer 2004. My three-week trip to Kamchatka was accompanied with feasts. Wherever we came there was either a local feast, or Fisherman"s Day, or else a folklore festival, etc. There seems to be no great joy in Kamchatkan life, but people are quite happy. Yet another riddle of human nature… |
